Nicole Churchill
Registered Psychotherapist
Nicole is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP), with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree and over 10 years clinical experience. Her passion is Neurofeedback (NFB), a form of biofeedback which allows you to target and strengthen key brain circuits with real-time feedback.
NFB doesn’t treat any specific condition or disorder, but it helps increase efficiency and reorganizes function of the brain. It is commonly used to help ADHD, anxiety, depression, sleep problems, trauma, substance use, chronic pain, and migraines.
Nicole offers neurofeedback as a tool along with clinical expertise in developing skills, restructuring thought patterns and behaviour, and exploring/understanding what might be getting in your way of reaching your goals. She utilizes an eclectic approach that includes a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, and Solution Focused Therapy.
You may be looking for an alternative to traditional talk therapy and/or medication or want to try something different…this might be it!
